The Therapy Services page will open
Select your area(s) of interest from the summaries on the page. Click the 'more information' button for further information on any of the subjects.
After reading about the subject, you may wish to discuss your concerns.
On each subject page is a link, 'Select Therapist', which takes you to a list of our Psychologists and Psychotherapists, who have all specialised in the particular subject for many years.
By reading the introductions against each name you may select who you would like to consult. (You may also view Psychologists who speak alternative languages, by selecting your desired language from the language drop down menu)
By clicking a chosen person's 'view diary' button, you will come to their diary, showing the appointment times they have available during the next eight weeks. The diary displays the coming week, then subsequent weeks, a week at a time.
To view future weeks, select an alternative date range from the drop down menu. If there aren't any times to suit you, click 'back', choose a different Psychologist, and see their diary.
To book your chosen appointment, go to the relevant diary entry and select the desired duration. (You can book 15 minute, 35 minute or 55 minute sessions).
Once you have selected the length of your session, click on the 'Book' button on the right hand side of the relevant diary entry.
Clicking the 'Submit' button will take you to the 'Statement' page, which displays the sessions you have booked and the total amount due, including any publications you may have chosen.
You may make another appointment, or make changes and then click 'Place your order'. This will take you to the Transaction page where you can pay by Credit card.
You must log in to use the Transaction page.
Upon completing this, we then ask you to submit some basic details (which are Confidential, as is everything you tell us).
You then need to enter you credit card details for payment and click the 'submit order' button. Credit card payments are encrypted and include 128 Bit SSL protection, the information is processed via a secure server and details are not held.
The Order Confirmation page appears, showing your order number and details and confirming your security codes.
You will also receive confirmation of your appointment by e-mail, and any publications chosen will be posted (under plain cover) within three days.
You can now return to the beginning of the site.
Once you are successfully logged in, the site will display your name and the Appointment details at the top of the screen.
Click on the link to view your Appointment Card. You will then be able to view all the appointments that you have booked.
At the correct time you will be able to attend an appointment by clicking the 'Attend' button next to the relevant appointment. Your session room for that appointment will then open in a new window. (You can enter the session room at any time, but it wiIl be empty until vour appointment is due to start).
Your Psychologist will meet you in the session room when your appointment is due to start. The first person there should type a message in the box at the bottom of the session room window, e.g. "Hello, I'm here!" The second person responds on arrival and the session is underway.
Your Psychologist will not see what you are typing untiI you click on the 'OK' button at the right hand side of the box.
In the top right hand corner of the session room is a clock that counts down the time of the session. Your Psychologist should also warn you when your session is coming to an end.
To end the session simply close the session room window by clicking on the 'X' box in the top right hand corner of the Window.
(Please note that your Psychologist wiIl not know that you have left the chat room unless you say you are leaving)
If you would like a transcript of the session, click the 'print transcript' words under the dialog window. You need not do this immediately but it will be permanently deleted, either by your Psychologist or automatically after 24 hours - whichever is the sooner.
