This is limited to Name, Address, Telephone Number and GP details.
Details of conversations between yourself and your Therapist will be deleted from the database daily. For this reason if you would like a copy of your transcript you must download it before 8am on the morning following the day of your appointment.
PsychologyOnline.co.uk does not keep any transcripts of client sessions. If these are required by your NHS referring agency you will be informed and they will be kept in a secure manner by the NHS in accordance with NHS Data Protection and security procedures.
Individual therapists may download transcripts from your sessions purely for therapeutic reasons. If this should be the case, they will be kept in accordance with Professional Ethics and Conduct and the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you download your sessions for future reference you will be responsible for ensuring that these are kept in a safe secure place.
Depending on your referring agency’s requirements, you may be requested to complete therapeutic questionnaires. These questionnaires will be used to monitor the progress of your therapy in order to ensure that you are receiving the most appropriate care. In all cases, the content of questionnaires will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality in accordance with the standards and protocols of your referring agency and the Data Protection Act 1998.
On rare occasions, we may ask you to complete questionnaires to inform the future development of the service. In this case, the purpose of the questionnaires will be made clear to you and we will ensure that any information given is anonymised. You always have the right to refuse to take part.
